Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what nepeanhoodcleaningpros.ca collects, why, where it goes and how long it stays there. Nepean Hood Cleaning Pros collects the minimum needed to quote and schedule commercial kitchen exhaust work, which in practice is a name, a phone number, an email address, a business name and a description of the kitchen. Last updated: August 2026.
What this site collects
Two categories, and neither includes anything sensitive.
Information you type into the quote form. Name, phone number, email address, business or kitchen name, and whatever is written in the message field. The page the form was submitted from is recorded alongside it, which is used to understand which pages produce enquiries. Nothing else is captured from the form.
Ordinary technical information. Like any website, this one is served by hosting infrastructure that records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. That information exists to deliver pages, keep the site available and block abuse.
This site does not collect payment information, government identifiers, health information or any other sensitive category. It does not ask visitors to create an account, and there is no login.
How the information is used
Quoting, scheduling and the record of work. Nothing else.
- To respond to a quote request and arrange the free walk-through.
- To schedule and perform the work, and to produce the certificate, photo report and invoice that follow it.
- To keep the service record, which is what allows a future inspector question about a past visit to be answered.
- To improve this website, by understanding which pages produce enquiries and which do not.
Information submitted through this site is not sold, rented or traded. It is not used to build advertising profiles, and it is not shared with unrelated businesses. Where a quote is for a kitchen outside the coverage area, the enquiry may be passed to the sister operation covering that market, and only then with the sender being told.
Where it is stored and who can see it
A quote request passes through a small number of service providers before it reaches a person.
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection to a hosting function, which passes them to the customer relationship system used to manage quotes and bookings. Those providers process the information on behalf of Nepean Hood Cleaning Pros and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Some of them operate infrastructure outside Canada, which means information may be stored or processed in another country and may be subject to that country's laws.
Access is limited to the people who need it to quote, schedule, perform and invoice the work. Records connected to a completed job are retained while they remain useful as a service record, and a request for deletion is honoured except where a record has to be kept for accounting or legal reasons.
This site uses no advertising cookies and runs no third-party advertising trackers. A chat widget may be loaded on some pages once a visitor interacts with the site, and if it is used, the conversation is stored in the same customer relationship system as a quote request.
Privacy questions
How do I ask for my information to be deleted?
Call 613-707-0313 and ask. A request to see, correct or delete the information held about an enquiry is handled directly. Anything not required for accounting or as a record of completed work is removed, and confirmation follows.
Will submitting the form put me on a mailing list?
No. There is no newsletter and no marketing sequence attached to this form. A submitted quote request produces a reply about that quote, and a booked job produces the documents that go with it.
Does this site track me across other websites?
No. There are no advertising pixels or cross-site trackers on this site. The only page-level information recorded with an enquiry is which page it came from, which is used to understand what visitors find useful.
Which law applies?
This is an Ontario business serving commercial kitchens in Nepean, Barrhaven, Bells Corners and Manotick, so Canadian federal and Ontario privacy law applies to the handling of personal information collected here. A concern that cannot be resolved directly can be taken to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
